Working On My Ed.D.

In the spring of 2021, I earned my Post-Master's Certificate in University and College Teaching at the University of North at Charlotte

After completing the Post-Master's Certificate in University and College Teaching, I became more motivated to pivot my professional career. I applied for the Learning, Design, and Technology concentration because I loved the Design, Development, and Evaluation of Online Learning Systems course.

I earned two Quality Matters Certifications, QM for Students Introductory Module and Independent Applying the QM Rubric (APPQMR), while enrolled in the course, which enhanced my knowledge of effectively developing and designing courses for learners.

Proposal Defended

I'm officially an Ed.D. Candidate! I successfully defended my dissertation proposal. It's time to get ready to conduct my research! I'm excited to answer my research questions through interviews with online faculty to learn how they implement the principles of Universal Design for Learning in their courses. Thank you again to my dissertation committee: Dr. Beth Oyarzun, dissertation chair, dissertation committee members Dr. Carmen Serrata and Dr. Blair Stamper, and graduate faculty representative Dr. Drew Polly. Go Niners!
